Have you ever try SuSE-JeOS virtual appliance, a trimmed SuSE Linux Enterprise server produced by Novell which can be run on VMware and X server?. Give it a try but please don’t expect you will get everything inside SuSE-JeOS like other Linux Distros because it’s has been trimmed remember? But yet, you can add or download an additional package from SLES package-library within 90 days for free once you register your SuSE-JeOS with valid activation key (also free). I’m still waiting for my activation code, so I cant tell much about it. But hey, imagine when we only install SuSE-JeOS with dhcp, bind, or even firewall without any services which require more resources. Surely this tiny enterprise Linux distro will give us a superb performance.

Okay! Forgot to tell you all that SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES 11) already been released. So, what are you waiting for?
